DescriptionOn late Friday, Greg sent out a call to the paddle list to, well, paddle. Chris, Barry, Karole and Dave heeded the call and headed to the Winnipesauke River in NH, which was flowing around 1100 cfs. It turned out to be a gorgeous day, and there were a ton of paddlers there.

We did three runs of this short river. The first time we took our time and tried to play every little feature; the second time we only concentrated on the "good parts," and the third time we bombed it, finishing with a thrilling boatercross race from the Room of Doom all the way to the take out. It was a thrilling race with a number of lead changes, but Dave ultimately passed Chris in Zippy's Rapid for the win!

We finished the day with ice cream at this awesome stand right by the put-in. Great day!!

Keep your eyes peeled for rafting trips posted to the paddle list this summer if you're looking to get into whitewater.
