| Description | Rick, Holly, Mike, Manfredi, and Greg went up to Ram Island in the Sheepscott River the weekend of Sept 20-21. After camping in Freeport on Friday night, we drove up to the Isle of Springs landing and met with Art, the caretaker of Ram Island. We paddled over to Ram from there and cleaned up two campsites which were covered with trees blown down in the 07 Patriot's Day storm. After working for a few hours, we all had lunch and did some additional kayaking among the other nearby islands. This is a great area with lots of public access islands and beaches to explore. |
