| Description | On Friday evening I suddenly became free for paddling and a last minute post to the paddle mailing list yielded Sam and Chris as compatriots. At the put-in we were joined by Alan (from MVP). The river was relatively uncrowded, possibly because many people were there for river fest the previous weekend.
We took our time on the river and stopped for a photo shoot at Dragon's Tooth, one of the hardest spots on the river. Although the club rafts were not present, I did get a photo of a commercial raft that gives some idea of what club raft trips might be like. Note that the club rafts are smaller and normally have a crew of four plus the guide. Hopefully I'll get out on another club raft trip and get some photos in Dragon's Tooth. |
