DescriptionThis trip was to Crawford Notch State Park for some winter skill practice.
Participants were Deb, Donna, Eric, Joseph, Melodie, Rachel, Rick, Stephanie, Wesley.

We started the trip at the Crawford Notch Train Depot on the cold sunny morning and did a snowshoe hike in nice powder 1.6 miles to the top of Mt. Willard. At the top, we sat in the sun and enjoyed the nice views of Crawford Notch. We returned to the cars and drove down to the lower part of Crawford Notch to hike along the Frankenstein Cliffs (and the always interesting railroad trestle) and up to a open snow slope for self arrest and glissade practice. Dinner followed at a great Thai restaurant in N. Conway.
