| Description | This trip was to Rumney for some near the end of the ice season for that area. Our great group was Karen, Sanpisa, Dave, Scott, and Rick. It was Karen's first time ice climbing and Sanpisa's first time climbing. The ice was soft and falling in places but we were to be vigilant and stayed sheltered most of the time. We climbed a wide gully with some nice vertical headwalls at the top and a very narrow gully. All in all a wonderful day and a sample of spring ice climbing. |
