This south-facing gully was melting fast in the direct sunlight and above-freezing conditions, but it was the longest climb in the ravine and lots of fun. We got passed by two soloers halfway up, but otherwise had it to ourselves. We might have been some of the last ones to climb Damnation this season at the rate water was gushing down! |
