The weather wasn’t great, but still South-Africa, Mongolia, Italy, USA and Germany made their way through the fog, the summit of Mt. Washington in sights (at least mentally since there wasn’t much to see of the top when we got started). After slipping on our high-tech functional clothing, we left the visitor centre at about 10 AM and hiked up Tuckerman Ravine. At 1:45 PM we reached the touristy top and took some time for several proud foto sessions including posing in front of the webcam. The very distinguishable webcam picture was downloaded in Pretoria, South Africa and by the very friendly & helpful ranger at the information desk. After some resting at the top we went back into the clouds and took the Lions Head Trail on the way down. Eventually we stopped for some swimming and got back pretty refreshed and happy.
