| Description | On Saturday, Ariel and Jessica led a hike up Mt. Washington. We went up the Ammonoosuc Ravine Trail to Lakes of the Clouds Hut. Part of the group hiked an extra 0.6 miles to summit Mt. Monroe (5372'). After summitting Mt. Washington (6288'), we descended via the Jewell Trail. It started raining before we got below treeline, and we were all thoroughly drenched by the time we reached the parking lot (2500'). But we made it to the top, and we made it back down, and we had a great time! |
