Well equiped Gandalmanny took five brave Hobbits with hairy but big feet up to the Land of The Ice Caves, which are also called The Caves of Moria by some ancient peoples. Gandalmanny warned the Hobbits right after they left the warm shelters of Camelot's Shire that the trip would be kind of sketchy... And indeed, the long way up to King Ravine turned into an adventure: Trails got replaced by creeks, a smooth fall-ish landscape was substituted by the bitter cold Icy Ranges, but still, the Hobbits followed Gandalmanny in a impressively strong manner and thus owned all of Gandalmanny's respect. In a moment of highest tension and excitement, the Six Fellows discovered an army of hundreds of gigantic Rock Orcs, which were, of course, frozen and unable to move but still covered with ice and unforseable dangerousnesses. The Hobbit's hairy feet got even wetter (because of all that hair), so there was no other chance in order to keep health and bloodline than returning home to the safe Camelot's Shire. So it be that the Caves of Moria stayed undiscovered by this still amazing fellowship... maybe they'll be rediscovered by comparable fellows in another epoc in the vastness of The White Middelmountains. |
