Description“A Presidential Traverse is a strenuous and sometimes dangerous trek over the Presidential Range of New Hampshire's White Mountains.” Yes!

During a beautiful day of July, seven MITOC members went hiking all the Presidential summits: at least twelve summits and eight 4,000 footers, for a total of 23 miles and 10,000 feet of elevation.

From North to South, we visited:

- Mt Madison, not by the crowded Valley Way trail, but by the Howker Ridge Trail
- Mt Adam
- Mt Jefferson
- Mt Washington
- Mt Monroe
- Mt Eisenhower
- Mt Pierce

We also added Mt Clay and four people climbed Mt Jackson at the end of the day, finishing the hike with headlamps.
