March 10 2007 Jerimoth Hill altitude 812 feet We took the train to providence and biked west for a 50 mile round trip to the highest point in Rhode Island. This was once said to be harder to summit than Denali (because the land owner would shoot you if you trespassed), but now people are allowed up on weekends. This is our 17th state high point. |
