Yep, Woody's mom (as well as Woody's dad) is real. And indeed they are both really awesome. They spent the whole month of June hiking all 4000' peaks in New Hampshire. As far as hiking goes, we took Hungtington Ravine trail to Mt. Washington, and then took Lion's Head back to Pinkham. We started quite early, maybe 5:30ish, because we wanted to see the Mt. Washington road race that was hapenning on Saturday. The fastest runner finished 7.6 mi of solid uphill in 56 min - craziness. But all the top runners looked concentration-camp-unhealthy... As of July 2nd Peggy and Jim finished all 48 peaks! Awesome. |
