School's over and I'm working in Pasadena for the summer. What an excellent excuse for climbing trip. Main stops in Moab, UT and Yosemite. By my rough count we did a total of 34 pitches over the entire course of the trip -- only three pitches more than the Nose of ElCap (which we climbed the first pitch of for fun). Many successes:

-1st time climbing in west for Polly

-Unplanned bivy

-1st time aiding for Polly

-ran it out past half rope

-Cooked a delicious breakfast, in a JetBoil, in a truck stop

-Polly is now one of few people that has decended cables route on Half Dome, but never climbed it

-Navigated dirt road by compass for ~20 miles with no map

-Got scared and wimped out on one climb

-Invented best sandwich ever

-Consumed worst Mac&Cheese concoction ever

-And best of all, climbed some stuff, and didn't get hurt.
